Biography
Chris Marlowe

Christopher Marlowe (yes, that's my real name!) hails from Washington, D.C., where he graduated from Catholic University. Well known among popular music lovers as a musical director, arranger, and pianist, Chris is also a composer of note. Chris was the proud recipient of the 1996 MAC Award for Music Director of the Year, primarily for his work with the legendary cabaret singer Nancy LaMott, with whom he was associated for the last 11 years of her life. Their music-making took them to all New York's prestigious cabaret venues and from Carnegie Hall to the White House.

Their recordings have been the recipients of both Backstage's BISTRO Award and the MAC Award for Recording of the Year and can still be heard on over 1,000 radio stations throughout the world. Since 1997, Chris has conducted and arranged for Kathie Lee Gifford at Rainbow and Stars, in Atlantic City and on her last two CBS Christmas Specials.

Chris has also musical directed Bernadette Peters, John Davidson, Leslie Uggams, Larry Kert, Regis Philbin, as well as countless Broadway and cabaret entertainers. With them, he has performed on Good Morning America, Today, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, The View, The Rosie O'Donnell Show and Late Night with David Letterman.

Chris's work can be heard on 30 recordings of 20 different vocalists. Chris's latest writing project is now available at www.keepsakemelodies.com
